According to Dr. Suresh Kumar, Medical Superintendent of the hospital, one of the two suspected patients resident of Ghaziabad had reached the hospital two days ago. The patient had red rash and fever on his body. Seeing the symptoms of monkeypox, the patient was admitted to the isolation ward and the sample was sent to the National Virology Lab (NIV), Pune. The negative report of the investigation has come on Thursday. However, right now the patient is under the supervision of doctors. The patient does not have fever, but the rash remains on the body. For this, the doctors of the skin department are also keeping an eye on the patient. The patient will be discharged soon.
