Covid 19 Update : 13,615 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in the country

13,615 new cases of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) have been reported in the country, due to which the total number of infected in the country has increased to 4,36,52,944. The recovery rate is 98.50%. In the last 24 hours, 13,265 people were cured from Corona, while talking about the total recovery, their number is 4,29,96,427. 

According to the updated data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Tuesday, the death toll in India increased to 5,25,474 after 20 more people died of infection. The number of patients under treatment for Covid-19 in the country has increased to 1,31,043, which is 0.30 percent of the total cases. The number of patients under treatment has increased by 330 in the last 24 hours. The national rate of recovery of patients is 98.50 percent.

Significantly, on 7 August 2020, the number of infected people in the country had exceeded 20 lakh, on 23 August 2020, 30 lakh and on 5 September 2020, more than 40 lakh. The total cases of infection crossed 50 lakh on 16 September 2020, 60 lakh on 28 September 2020, 70 lakh on 11 October 2020, 80 lakh on 29 October 2020 and 90 lakh on 20 November. On 19 December 2020, these cases had exceeded one crore in the country. Last year, on May 4, the number of infected had crossed 20 million and on June 23, 2021, it crossed 30 million. On January 25 this year, the cases had crossed four crores.
