With 616 new cases of new variant Omicron of Corona in a day, the total cases of Omicron in India have now reached 3,623. So far, Omicron has been reported in 27 states, with Maharashtra having the highest number of 1,009 cases. After this there are 513 infections in Delhi.

According to the data updated by the Ministry of Health on the morning of Sunday, January 9, the active COVID-19 caseload has registered an increase of 1,18,442 cases in a 24-hour period.
