Court sent AAP MLA Amanatullah to 4-day ACB custody, was arrested in corruption case

Troubles are increasing after the arrest of Delhi Waqf Board chairman and Aam Aadmi Party's Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan on Friday. Khan was produced in the ACB Rouse Avenue Court on Saturday after he was arrested on charges of misappropriation of crores of rupees in the Delhi Waqf Board. From where the court has handed over four days' custody to the Anti-Culption Branch (ACB) for questioning. ACB Chief Madhur Verma says that Amanatullah Khan will be interrogated first. On the basis of the facts revealed in the interrogation, raids will be conducted again on his other places and close friends.

ACB Chief Madhur Verma says that three separate FIRs have been lodged at Jamia Nagar police station on Friday. Amanatullah Khan has also been made the main accused in all of them. At the behest of Khan, an attempt was made to obstruct and beat up the raiding team. All three FIRs have been registered on the complaint of ACB. It should also be mentioned that in the three FIRs that have been lodged, many people will be arrested. Efforts are on to identify the accused through video and other means. Minnat, who found pistols, cartridges and 12 lakhs in cash, is also said to be the most special of Amanatullah Khan. He is the leader of the people of Bihar society living around Okhla.

Hamid is a builder by profession. He works in construction and sale of buildings in Okhla and Jamia. He used to be Asif's special earlier. Then started doing business with Amanatullah. His wife is from Saharanpur. But, there is a village headman in Buland city. ACB had also raided the place of Minnat, who lives in Khadar of Amanatullah, but nothing special was found in him. Property documents and business transactions worth crores have been found from Umaid and Imran.

In the Delhi Waqf Board in 2019, 32 people who were falsely hired on contract for three months. They are residents of Okhla, Seelampur, UP. Weapons and money were found from Hamid's place, but nothing special was found with Minnat. Minnat is a big leader of the people of Bihar society living in that area.
