Troubles are increasing after the arrest of Delhi Waqf Board chairman and Aam Aadmi Party's Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan on Friday. Khan was produced in the ACB Rouse Avenue Court on Saturday after he was arrested on charges of misappropriation of crores of rupees in the Delhi Waqf Board. From where the court has handed over four days' custody to the Anti-Culption Branch (ACB) for questioning. ACB Chief Madhur Verma says that Amanatullah Khan will be interrogated first. On the basis of the facts revealed in the interrogation, raids will be conducted again on his other places and close friends.
ACB Chief Madhur Verma says that three separate FIRs have been lodged at Jamia Nagar police station on Friday. Amanatullah Khan has also been made the main accused in all of them. At the behest of Khan, an attempt was made to obstruct and beat up the raiding team. All three FIRs have been registered on the complaint of ACB. Weapons and money were found from Hamid's place, but nothing special was found with Minnat. Minnat is a big leader of the people of Bihar society living in that area.
