Corona's cases are not stopping in Maharashtra, 1,357 new cases in a day
The Union Health Ministry said on Saturday that Tamil Nadu accounts for 3.13 per cent of the new cases reported in the country. The Center directed the Tamil Nadu government to exercise caution.

The pace of corona is not stopping in Maharashtra. According to the report of news agency PTI, 1,357 new cases of corona were reported in Maharashtra on Saturday, while one person died of infection. Corona cases are also increasing in Tamil Nadu.
Cases are also increasing in the national capital Delhi. 405 new cases were reported in Delhi in the last 24 hours. With this, the active cases in Delhi have increased to 1467. According to the PTI report, this is the third consecutive day when more than a thousand cases have been reported in Maharashtra. A day earlier on Friday, 1,134 new cases were reported in the state. At present, the number of corona infected in the state has gone up to 78,91,703 while the death toll from the pandemic has gone up to 1,47,865.
In view of the increase in corona cases in Tamil Nadu, the central government said on Saturday that 3.13 percent of the new cases of infection coming in the country are from Tamil Nadu. The Center asked the Tamil Nadu government to adopt a risk assessment based approach so that the achievements made on the pandemic are not wasted. The Secretary of the Ministry, Rajesh Bhushan, directed the Principal Secretary, Health Department of Tamil Nadu, J. Radhakrishnan said that the infection rate increased from 0.4 percent to 0.8 percent during the last week.
There has been some decrease in new cases of corona infection as compared to a day earlier. According to the latest figures of the Ministry of Health, 3,962 cases have been found in the last 24 hours, compared to 4,041 cases a day earlier. During this time 26 deaths have been recorded, out of which 20 deaths are from Kerala alone which is releasing the earlier deaths with new figures. Active cases have increased by 1,239 and their number has gone up to 22,416.
