Corona Threat Reemerges: Maharasthta witnessed 7 cases of Omicron sub-variants, 9-year-old child also infected
The Corona Virus cases have started to worry again.

For the first time in Maharashtra, 7 new cases of Omicron sub-variants BA.4 and BA.5 have been reported. According to the State Health Ministry, 4 new cases of BA.4 variant and 3 of BA.5 variant have been found in Pune. Of these, four are men and three are women. Four patients are above 50 years of age while two are in the age group of 20 to 40 years. One patient is also a 9-year-old child.
According to the state health ministry, all six of these adults have taken both doses of the vaccine, while one has also received a booster dose. The child has not been vaccinated yet. Mild symptoms have been found in them and are being treated at home. Their samples were taken between May 4 and 18. Two of them had traveled to South Africa and Belgium, while three had traveled to Kerala and Karnataka. The other two have no travel history. Earlier, two cases of Omicron sub-variants were found in Karnataka and one in Tamil Nadu.
In the last 24 hours, 2710 new cases of corona have been reported in the country, while 14 patients have died. The good thing is that 2,296 patients recovered from Corona on the last day. There has been an increase in the number of active cases of the corona. On Friday, 15,814 active cases of the corona were registered in the country. On Thursday, 15,414 active cases were registered. On Thursday, 2,628 new cases of the corona were reported in the country and 18 people died.
