Corona LIVE in the country: First case of Omicron found in Delhi, returned from Tanzania infected; 5 cases of new variant in 4 days

After Bengaluru, Mumbai and Jamnagar, now the first case of Omicron has been detected in Delhi. Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that the infected had come from Tanzania.

After Bengaluru, Mumbai and Jamnagar, now the first case of Omicron has been detected in Delhi. Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that the infected had come from Tanzania. After investigation at the airport, it was reported that he was infected with Omicron. He has been admitted to LNJP Hospital in Delhi. Earlier on Saturday, Omicron was found infected in Jamnagar, Gujarat. At the same time, including the cases of Omicron in Mumbai and Bangalore, a total of 5 infected of this variant have been found in the country.

Puducherry has made the corona vaccine mandatory amid new cases of new corona variant Omicron being found in India. In the order issued on Saturday, it has been ordered that according to the Puducherry Public Health Act 1973, all people will have to get the vaccine dose. Those who do not obey this order will be punished under the law.

The worst situation was created in Maharashtra during the second wave of Corona. On Saturday, Omicron's first case and the country's fourth case were reported here. Earlier, 13 people who came from abroad have been found infected so far. The report of 3 more people has been found positive on Saturday. The RT-PCR report of these people has been sent to the lab for genome sequencing. Till then they have been quarantined and kept under the supervision of doctors.
