People working at the Beijing Dongjiao crematorium in China's capital have claimed that there has been a surge in requests for cremation and other funeral services in the country in the past few days. On Friday, a woman speaking on the phone at the cremation ground said, "The workload has increased since the re-emergence of Covid." The woman said that so many dead bodies are coming to the Dongjiao crematorium that cremation has to be done from early morning till midnight. The crematorium receives around 200 bodies every day. The woman also told that due to increasing cases many other people have also got infected.
