Conspiracy to make India an Islamic country, Giriraj Singh said on JNU controversy
Giriraj Singh said that some fundamentalist forces are conspiring to make India an Islamic country. He said that such slogans have been written on the walls of JNU by the same people to create a rift in the majority. Singh further said that JNU is a temple of education, which is being conspired to defame it. The Union Minister said that this attempt by radical minorities to break the majority will never succeed.

Taking a dig at the controversial slogans taken against Brahmins and Baniyas on the walls of JNU, Union Minister Giriraj Singh said that JNU is becoming a den of political parties running a piecemeal gang. He said that this nexus of Tukde-Tukde gang and Ghazwa-e-Hind is going on in the country and they are trying to break the country. He said that they would not be able to succeed in their cause in India. Expressing his displeasure over the controversy going on in JNU, Singh said that power will come and go but people sitting in the house should not try to change the definition of Sanatan Dharma.

Actually, on December 1, many pictures went viral on social media. Slogans like 'Brahmins leave campus', 'Brahmins-baniyas we are coming for you, you will not be spared' and 'Shakha Laut Jao' were seen written on the walls in red paint in the pictures. JNU had once again become an environment of controversies due to these things written against a particular caste in the university campus. Several students and student organizations of the university have expressed their displeasure over anti-Brahmin and anti-Bania slogans written on the walls of the JNU campus. At the same time, writings against Brahmins and Baniyas in the university have also gone viral on social media, due to which various student organizations are indignant.
