Congress manifesto released in Gujarat, party made big election promises regarding education, health and farmers
Congress said in its manifesto that 300 units of free electricity, outstanding electricity bills will be waived along with free treatment and free medicines up to Rs 10 lakh for Gujarati people. At the same time, Congress has promised to rename the Narendra Modi Stadium to Sardar Patel Stadium if it comes to power.

The Congress released its manifesto for the Gujarat Assembly elections on Saturday. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, party spokesperson Pawan Kheda and many big Congress leaders were present. The Congress, in its manifesto, said that the people of Gujarat would not allow large-scale privatization of education and healthcare. Along with this, he also promised that along with free treatment and free medicines up to Rs 10 lakh for the people of Gujarat, 300 units of free electricity would be given.

In the manifesto, the party said that the hand of the Congress has always been with the farmers. In order to improve the condition of the farmers of Gujarat, a 'Price Fixation Committee' will be set up to get the price of the crop. At the same time, the Congress in its manifesto said that the party will ensure recruitment of 10 lakh vacant government seats to help the youth of Gujarat live life with dignity.
