Congress leader Salman Khurshid compares Rahul Gandhi with Lord Ram, BJP furious

Congress leader Salman Khurshid compared Rahul Gandhi to Lord Ram and called himself Bharat. After the statement of Salman Khurshid, a lot of uproar is being seen. Talking to the media, Salman Khurshid had said that 'Khadau' of Lord Ram goes a long way. Sometimes when Ram ji is unable to reach, Bharat goes from place to place with a khadau. Similarly, we have run Khadau in UP. Now that Khadau has reached Uttar Pradesh, Ram ji (Rahul Gandhi) will also come soon.

Not only this, he further said that Rahul Gandhi is like God while we are chilling in the cold and wearing jackets, Rahul is going out for his Bharat Jodo tour in a T-shirt. He is like a yogi who is concentrating on his 'penance'. After Salman Khurshid compared Rahul Gandhi to Lord Ram, sages raised strong objections, while on the other hand, BJP criticized Congress's statement against Hindu faith.

BJP leader Shahzad Poonawala wrote that Salman Khurshid compared Rahul Gandhi to Lord Shri Ram, compared himself to Bharat!! shocking! Would he dare to compare anyone with the Gods of other religions? Denying the existence of Ram, stopping the Ram temple is now an insult to Hindu faith! Does Rahul agree with this?

BJP leader Preeti Gandhi wrote that the Congress, which till yesterday refused to accept even the existence of Lord Ram, is today comparing Rahul Gandhi with the same Lord Ram! Earlier they used God's name for votes and are still using it for votes, in the process Hindu sentiments are being hurt again and again.
