Congress leader RPN Singh may join BJP, resigns from Congress

Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister RPN Singh has resigned from the party. He has sent his resignation to party president Sonia Gandhi. There are reports that he can join BJP. RPN Singh himself has given the news of his resignation on Twitter.

Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, political stir continues, there is speculation about RPN Singh that BJP may give him a ticket against Swami Prasad Maurya.

Swami Prasad Maurya left BJP and joined Samajwadi Party a few days back. Along with him, many BJP MLAs also left the party and rode on bicycles, it is considered a big setback for the BJP, many leaders left the party just before the election, in such a situation, if RPN Singh joins BJP, then it might benefit BJP.
