Congress Leader Harish Rawat alleges manipulation in voting, Shares Video
Harish Rawat, who serves as a general secretary in the Congress Party, has posted a video on his Twitter handle and alleged that voting is being manipulated in the election in Uttarakhand.

Harish Rawat, who serves as a general secretary in the Congress Party, has posted a video on his Twitter handle and alleged that voting is being manipulated in the election in Uttarakhand.
The videos, whose location details are anonymous, shows that a person is putting a tick mark and signing several ballot papers on behalf of the voters in an illegal manner.
Rawat said in the same post, “I am sharing a short video for everyone's information. This shows how a man at an army centre is ticking and signing many ballot papers. Will the Election Commission take cognisance of this?"
From the video, it is not clear where this malpractice is happening and who is the person doing it. Similar allegations have also been levelled by Pritam Singh, who is the Leader of Opposition in the Uttarakhand Assembly.
Singh said," In this video that makes a mockery of democracy, a man at an army centre is seen ticking and signing several postal ballot papers in favour of the party of his choice. The Election Commission should take cognisance of it and act against the guilty.”
On the other hand, BJP leaders have countered the allegations and said that Congress is coming up with all these tricks s they are facing a certain defeat in the election.
Manveer Singh Chauhan, Pradesh BJP media in-charge, said, “The Congress is resorting to such tactics as it is aware that it has failed to mislead people. In the face of its imminent defeat the party which was talking earlier about manipulation of EVMs is now talking about ballot papers. It shows the party's frustration."
