The party has appointed Brijlal Khabri, who comes from the Dalit community, as the new president of the state Congress. It is believed that the party is trying to connect the Dalit community with the party with the appointment of Khabri. Brijlal Khabri is known as an aggressive Dalit leader in the state. As the president, the responsibility of connecting the Dalit community across the state will be on his shoulders.
