Comedian Sidharth Sagar Admitted To Rehab For Doing Drugs Again, Found In A Bad State

Comedian Sidharth Sagar, who battled substance abuse for a long time, is now sent to rehab. In 2018, the comedian talked about his dark phase and how much he worked not to get back there. Unfortunately, the Comedy Show star is in a bad state again.

As per the latest update, Sidharth didn't arrive for the shooting of the Comedy Factory, which Farah Khan is judging. ETimes later learned that the cops in Mumbai found the comedian in a very bad state. The cops called his mother, Alka Sagar, in Delhi to inform her about his situation. The stand-up comedian is now admitted to rehab for his treatment.

Sidharth Sagar's mother was asked if the comedian has started doing drugs again. His mother told TOI, "I was with Sidharth all this while and had recently come to Delhi because my 12-year-old pet was very unwell and I had to rush back home. After I came here I learnt about Sidharth and I was devastated to know and it was a big setback for me. But as I am out of Mumbai I have no clarity what exactly happened to him. I have got him admitted to a rehab but I haven’t got a chance to know what exactly went wrong. I am travelling to Mumbai today and will be meeting him, only after that I will have a clarity. I had got a call from the police station that Sidharth Sagar was found in a bad state and he only remembered my name and number and they called me up. They asked me to take him from there."

Alkar Sagar said that whenever Sidharth Sagar gets into such a situation, no one from his friends or well-wishers come forward to help him. Only his parents have been there for him, but the comedian never understood his family's value. Sidharth's mother added, "I am a mother and I want him to get out of the situation. I have always been around him and never let him be alone, but unfortunately I had to travel to Delhi for my pet who was unwell and later passed away. We came here and we got a call about Sidharth. I am yet to figure out what exactly went wrong."
