CJI Chandrachud reached Amrit Udyan on the invitation of President Draupadi Murmu

Supreme Court Chief Justice and other judges had come to visit Amrit Udyan on Sunday on the special invitation of President Draupadi Murmu. Earlier on January 29, President Draupadi Murmu attended the inauguration of 'Amrit Udyan' of Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday. The gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan have been converted into 'Amrit Udyan' under the 'Amrit Mahotsav of Independence'. Earlier it was known as Mughal Garden. The Garden was opened to the general public on January 31, which will remain open till March 26, 2023. The gardens will remain open for the special category from March 28 to March 31. Between March 28-31, it will be held on March 28 for farmers, March 29 for people with disabilities, March 30 for defense forces, paramilitary forces and police personnel and March 31 for women including tribal women SHGs.
To assist the visitors, students studying botany will also help to tell people about the plant. Every day 20 guides will be present at various places in the garden. This garden, popularly known as Mughal Garden, has been named Amrit Udyan under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. This time there are 12 unique varieties of tulips in the garden while there are 120 varieties of rose flowers. Apart from the website, people can take tickets on the spot of Rashtrapati Bhavan itself. You will have to register yourself at the Self Service Kiosk near Gate No. 12 of Rashtrapati Bhavan. In this, on the registration of one person, tickets for 10 people can be withdrawn simultaneously.
