Chief Minister Yogi enumerated the achievements of the government while discussing the budget in the Legislative Council
CM Yogi said that after successfully ruling the state for five years, the BJP has again come to power in the state with a two-thirds majority. The budget of 2016 was 3.29 lakh crores. In 2017, there was a budget of 3.40 lakh crores. Today, after six years, we presented a budget of 6.90 lakh crore in the House, which is in line with the aspirations of 25 crore people of the state.

After giving a befitting reply to the opposition in the Legislative Assembly on the budget, on Thursday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath enumerated the achievements of the government while discussing the budget in the Legislative Council. His focus remained on the Global Investors Summit that concluded in February. He said that we had organized the UP Investors Summit in February 2018. The Global Investors Summit was held again in 2023. Earlier where proposals of 4.68 lakh crores used to come, today proposals of 35 lakh crores have come in the same UP.
Chief Minister Yogi said that it is not limited to NCR only, proposals worth lakhs of crores have been received in Purvanchal and Bundelkhand. For this a campaign had to be run. Team UP kept working continuously for a year, shed sweat and then the 'perception' changed. We have better connectivity today, we have expressways, rail network, air network. We formulated a sectoral policy and took forward our efforts by making an action plan in it. A policy was made, an anti-land mafia task force was formed, a land bank of 64 thousand hectares of land was made free from land mafia.
Giving information about the efforts made by the government for the Global Investors Summit, Chief Minister Yogi said that this time our Deputy CM and senior ministers were welcomed with respect everywhere in the country they visited. Our team brought massive investments from 16 countries across the world and eight cities in India. Our public representatives held investor conferences in every district of UP. This is the biggest success of UP that while 75 districts are being covered, huge investment has also been made from the most backward areas of Purvanchal and Bundelkhand. Earlier the Investors' Summits of UP used to be held in Delhi and Mumbai instead of in Lucknow. It was asked why it is not done in UP, then the answer was that no one would come to UP.
This budget shows the development in the economy of UP. We have got success in strengthening the arrangements within the state. In 2014, the Prime Minister had given the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas. That is the main mantra of the success of this government. Development is visible in every area by connecting villages, poor, women, farmers and youth together. Once there was a crisis of identity in front of the youth, the parallel power of organized crime mafia used to run. Daughters were not safe, farmers were committing suicide. Today the youth of UP receives respect wherever he goes. Development is being seen in every village, locality and district of UP, the heartland of India.
