Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in his second innings, has started a campaign to improve the level of primary and basic education in the state as well as to increase the literacy rate in all the districts. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday launched the 'School Chalo Abhiyan' across the state from Shravasti district, which has the lowest literacy rate in the state. Their goal is to bring other backward districts of the state along with Shravasti into the mainstream of literacy.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on this occasion that I request all the teachers to knock door-to-door in this campaign that will run in the next one month and ask if there is any child who has been deprived of going to school. Take that child to school, get him registered in the school, provide him facilities like uniform, books, bags etc. If all the facilities are made available to them, then children will run to school and our campaign will also come on track.
