Chhath Special Trains: Railways announced to run Chhath special train
However, Railways says that Northern Railway is running 84 festival special trains with 846 trips. 165 additional coaches have been added in 56 trains. These coaches will make 4700 extra trips. 3.5 lakh additional seats have been made available. Indian Railways is running 2200 festival special trains. Keeping in view the waiting list, 29 general coaches in 15 festival special trains have been converted into AC and sleeper coaches.

Train number 04066 will run from Delhi Junction to Patna on 31 October. This train will leave at 11:10 pm and will reach Patna at 3:45 pm the next day. En route, this special train will stop at Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Junction, Varanasi, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction and Danapur stations.
Similarly, Train No. 04032 will leave Delhi Junction for Darbhanga at 2:20 pm on 31st October and will reach Darbhanga at 3:45 pm the next day. This train will stop at Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Pratapgarh, Varanasi, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar and Ara stations.
Train number 04074 will leave Delhi Junction for Darbhanga on 31 October. This train will leave at 4 pm and will reach Darbhanga at 6:30 pm the next day. Enroute this train will stop at Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Pratapgarh, Varanasi, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, Ara, Patna Junction, Bakhtiyarpur, Mokama, Barauni Junction and Samastipur stations.
Apart from this, train number 03435 Malda Town – Anand Vihar Terminal Chhath Special will run from 31 October to 7 November. In the return direction, Train No. 03436 will run from Anand Vihar Terminal to Malda Town from November 1 to November 8. This train will depart from Anand Vihar at 5:10 pm and will reach Malda Town at 11:50 pm the next day. This train with WAN AC, sleeper and general class coaches is enroute New Farakka, Barharwa, Sahibganj, Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur, Sultanganj, Jamalpur, Abhaypur, Kiul, Mokama, Bakhtiyarpur, Patna, Ara, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Varanasi, It will halt at Pratapgarh, Amethi, Rae Bareli, Lucknow and Moradabad stations in both the directions.
