Chetan Sharma re-elected as the chief selector of the BCCI selection committee
The Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) recommended Chetan Sharma for the role of chairman of the selection committee. Other selectors in the selection committee panel include S Sharath from South Zone, SS Das from Central Zone, Subroto Banerjee from East and Salil Ankola from West Zone.

After the team's failure in the T20 World Cup, the BCCI took a major action and sacked the selection committee. Immediately after that, the BCCI had also sought applications, the last date of which was 28 November. Chetan Sharma had applied to become the chief selector again. On Saturday, the BCCI re-appointed Chetan Sharma as the chief of the selection committee. Other selectors in the selection committee panel include S Sharath from South Zone, SS Das from Central Zone, Subroto Banerjee from East and Salil Ankola from West Zone.
The Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) members, Sulakshana Naik, Ashok Malhotra and Jatin Paranjpe, followed a comprehensive process to select the members of the All India Senior Selection Committee. After the advertisement of five posts released on its official website on 18 November 2022, the board had received around 600 applications. After deliberation and careful consideration, the CAC shortlisted 11 persons for personal interview. On the basis of interview, the committee appoints members for the National Selection Committee of the Senior Indian Team.
