Various teacher organizations and parent associations including Haryana Primary Teacher Association were demanding change of school timings in view of the rising heat. Taking action on this, Education Minister Kanwarpal announced the change of school timings on Monday. Soon after, the Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Mahavir Singh issued orders to change the timings of the schools.
All District Education Officers and Elementary Education Officers have been asked to strictly follow the orders. At the same time, along with good education in government schools, now the health of school children will also be taken care of. Its preparation has started. Health cards of more than 22 lakh children will be made in the state, through which the health of the children will be taken care of. In collaboration with the Health Department, these health cards will be made after examining children in schools.
