Center sent new proposal to farmers; United Kisan Morcha meeting at 2 pm on Singhu border

There seems to be talk of ending the farmers' movement. On one hand, a meeting of the 5 member High Power Committee of the United Kisan Morcha is going on. At the same time, the Center has sent a new proposal to the farmers, on which the committee is brainstorming. The final decision will be taken in the meeting of the United Kisan Morcha to be held at 2 pm. The farmers' movement is going on for 377 days on the Delhi border.

Regarding the cases registered during the farmers' agitation, the central government has asked them to withdraw them immediately. The responsibility of this has been put on the state governments.Regarding MSP, the government has made it clear that only the representatives of the government and the United Kisan Morcha will be in this committee.

The MSP committee will have representatives from the central government and the United Kisan Morcha. The committee will submit its report within 3 months. Which will ensure how farmers get MSP. The crop on which the state is currently procuring at MSP will continue.

All cases will be withdrawn with immediate effect. The governments of UP, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana have given their consent for this. Cases registered by the Central Government, Railways and other Union Territories will also be withdrawn immediately. The central government will also appeal to the states.

Haryana and Uttar Pradesh have given in-principle approval to pay compensation like Punjab.The provisions affecting the farmers on the electricity bill will be discussed with the United Kisan Morcha. Before that it will not be introduced in Parliament.Farmers will be free from the provision of fine in section 15 of the Central Government Act on the issue of stubble.
