CCTV installed in Jahangirpuri, surveillance post will be made; Police wrote a letter to ED for investigation

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has now been involved in the Jahangirpuri violence. In a recent development, the Delhi Police Commissioner has written a letter to the ED, in which it has been said to take action under PMLA against Ansar, the main accused of violence. The Crime Branch is preparing to impose NSA charges against three more accused. So far NSA has been imposed against 5 accused. In view of the security, Delhi Crime Branch has installed CCTV in Jahangirpuri. Surveillance posts will also be made here.

Delegation of the Indian Muslim League (IML), Bajrang Dal, and Vishwa Hindu Parishad reached Jahangirpuri on Friday to meet the victims. Delegations of the Samajwadi Party and Trinamool Congress will also come today. A Congress delegation had reached here on Thursday, but the police did not allow it to go to the place of violence.

On Thursday, the fact-finding team of the Samajwadi Party will go to Jahangirpuri, which also includes MPs Shafiqur Rehman Burke and ST Hasan. At the same time, in view of the visit of the leaders, Delhi Police has barricaded high security in the area. Earlier, Congress leaders were also prevented from entering the area.

In Jahangirpuri's Jama Masjid, children have been forbidden to offer Friday prayers. The Masjid Administration announced this on Friday. The administration says that no child should accidentally throw stones at anyone in sports, so this decision was taken. Along with this, an appeal has also been made to the people for peace.

So far, more than 20 people have been arrested by the police in the violence case in Delhi on Sunday. After the violence, the investigation of this case has been handed over to the Crime Branch. Special Commissioner of Delhi Police Deependra Pathak told the media that we will also investigate the case from a PFI angle.
