CBSE has also issued a press note in which it has said that the date sheet has been released nearly three months before the starting of the examination.
The purpose is to give students time so that they can make their study plan and overcome the problems faced during the pandemic.
It also said that sufficient time has been given between the examinations of two main subjects in both class 10 and 12.
“This will reduce the stress of the students and help them in better preparation for the examinations,” the press note said.
It added, “Class-XII examinations will be conducted in two shifts to reduce the number of days of the conduct of the examination. In second shift, examinations of the subjects which are not offered by the students of schools situated abroad will be conducted.”
According to CBSE, in the second shift, examinations on 4 days will be conducted.
“On these days, in morning shift examination of Class-X of main subjects will be conducted in which the maximum number of examination centres will be used. During the afternoon shift, only in few examination centres, examinations will be conducted,” the CBSE said.
