CBSE Class XII Result 2021: Girls Perform better Than boys, Pass Percentage Is Higher Than 2020

The wait for the result is not over for 65184 students as they have not received their results today as it is still under process. Probably their result will be announced on August 5

CBSE Class XII Result 2021: Girls Perform better Than boys, Pass Percentage Is Higher Than 2020

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) classXII result of 2021 is released and available at their website - cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in. The result is also available via UMANG app, SMS and Digilocker.

In the result of 2021, 99.37 pass percentage has been recorded, nearly ten percent higher than previous year’s 88.8 percent. In 2019, the pass percentage was 83.4%. This year the number of 95% and above scoring students has increased from 3.24% last year to 5.37% this year. Over 70,000 students have secured above 95% in the CBSE class XII, marks of which were awarded on the basis of an alternative assessment policy. The pass percentage among male students is 99.13%. Last year their pass percentage was 86.19%. Girls have performed better than boys this year. 99.67% of the total girl students have cleared the exam.

The wait for the result is not over for 65184 students as they have not received their results today as it is still under process. Probably their result will be announced on August 5. A total of 6,149 students have been placed under the compartment. These students will have to reappear for the exams as and when the CBSE notifies them. Students who are not satisfied with the assessment or the marks they got will be allowed to sit for written examinations conducted by the board when conditions are conducive for holding the examinations.

Over 16 lakh students had registered for the CBSE Class XII Board Exams 2021. But because of rising COVID-19 cases it could not conducted the exams. It is for the first time in the history CBSE has evaluated students on the basis of their past performance.

Earlier CBSE, in a tweet had said, “CBSE class XII result to be announced today at 2pm.” The tweet also have a picture of popular Bollywood Movie DDLJ ‘Dil Wale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ with interestingly written in Hindi ‘Akhir wo din aa hi gaya’ Finally the day has come.

In the class 12 result declared, 129 children with special needs (CWSN) have scored above 95% marks. While 400 CWSN students secured about 90%.
