CBI questions on Manish Sisodia, got only 30 minutes lunch break in 6 hours

The CBI has been questioning Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia for the last several hours regarding the liquor policy of the Kejriwal government. Sisodia had reached the CBI Headquarters at 11.13 am, after the entry, his interrogation at the CBI Headquarters started at 11:30. He was given a lunch break of half an hour in between. According to CBI sources, the first copy of the statements made at Sisodia's house was shown to them. This was followed by the interrogation of Manish Sisodia about Vijay Nair and Abhishek Boinpally, a Hyderabad-based businessman who was arrested recently.

Manish Sisodia was always aware of this, Vijay Nair and Abhishek were always involved in the new policy making meetings, so their relationship was questioned. Dinesh Arora's company Radha Industries was asked about the transaction of Rs 1 crore sent through Sameer Mahendra. So far, in the interrogation, Vijay Nair, Abhishek have been questioned for attending excise meetings and they have been questioned about getting license to liquor dealer by luring excise officials.

The CBI had sent summons for questioning. Manish Sisodia also tweeted on this. In which it was written that 'Satyamev Jayate'. Yesterday in the tweet he wrote that 'CBI raid was conducted at my house for 14 hours, nothing came out. Searched my bank locker, nothing came out of it. They couldn't find anything in my village. CBI has called, I will go and give full cooperation. Satyameva Jayate.'

Aam Aadmi Party is vocal on the CBI summons to Manish Sisodia. AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj has also said that 'CBI has called Manish Sisodia for questioning, it has a direct connection with Gujarat elections. All this is happening to stop Manishji's program in the coming days. Manish Sisodia ji can be arrested. He said that the more leaders you arrest, the party will emerge stronger.
