CBI court sends Chanda Kochhar, Deepak Kochhar and Venugopal Dhoot to judicial custody for 14 days

Chanda Kochhar, her husband Deepak Kochhar and Venugopal Dhoot have received a big blow from the CBI court today in the ICICI loan fraud case. The court has sent all the three accused to judicial custody for 14 days.
The CBI had arrested Videocon Chairman Venugopal Dhoot on Monday itself. Venugopal Dhoot is being interrogated for 4 years regarding this scam, several questions were asked many times and finally CBI arrested him in this scam case. This scam is being told about 3250 crores. In 2012, Videocon Group needed a big loan, the work of getting the loan passed was done by the bank's MD Chanda Kochhar at that time using her position. This loan was 3250 Crores which later the company could not repay and it was declared NPA which caused huge loss to the bank but benefited the borrowers. When Chanda Kochhar got this loan passed, she ignored the rules because her husband was also going to get benefit from this loan. Darshal, when this big loan was passed, Videocon Group had invested Rs 64 crore in Deepak Kochhar's company as a compensation. In this case, the CBI court on Wednesday itself extended the custody of the three accused till 29 December i.e. Aaj Tak. and now it has been extended for another 14 days.
