Budget 2022:The budget will be presented on February 1 at 4 pm

The country's Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the budget on the first day of the next month, that is, February 1, Tuesday. According to information received from sources, this budget will be presented at 11 am. Although earlier also the budget has been presented at 11 o'clock, but this time there were discussions about presenting the budget at 4 pm. But now it is clear that the budget will be presented only at 11 o'clock.

During the first phase of the budget session of Parliament, the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha meetings will be held at different times of the day, so that social distancing rules related to Covid-19 can be followed. During the budget session starting from January 31, the sittings of both the houses will be held at different times for five hours each.

A day before the budget, that is, on 31 January 2022, President Ram Nath Kovind will address a joint session of Parliament. This will be the tenth budget of the Narendra Modi-led BJP government in 2022 after coming to power in 2014. Nirmala Sitharaman will present the budget for the fourth time since taking over as the Union Finance Minister in 2019.
