BPSC 67th Paper Leak: DSP arrested in paper leak case, 17 including six officers arrested so far
The task of investigating the matter was given to the Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) of Bihar Police which has so far arrested 17 people including six government officials.

A police officer has been arrested in connection with the leak of the question papers of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) examinations held in May. He said that the Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) of Bihar Police arrested Deputy Superintendent of Police Ranjit Kumar Rajak after interrogation on Tuesday night. He told that he was posted in the 14th Battalion of the Bihar Armed Special Police.
Officials said that Rajak was questioned on the basis of the statement of Shakti Kumar, Principal cum Center Superintendent of Ram Sharan Singh Evening College in Gaya's Delha area. Kumar was arrested on June 23, 2022 for allegedly circulating a scanned copy of a set of BPSC question papers before the commencement of the examination, they said. Officials also said that Rajak and Kumar used to interact regularly.
Officials said Rajak was earlier named in a separate chargesheet in a separate case related to forgery and fraud. The question papers of the BPSC 67th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination held on May 8, 2022 were leaked.
