Booster dose of Covid vaccine is being vaccinated from today
One can also register for precaution doses directly at the vaccination center without registering on Co-Win.

Amidst the increasing cases of corona in India, from today i.e. from January 10, the 'Precaution Dose', which is being called the booster dose of the vaccine, is given to frontline workers and people with co-morbidities. Whose age is more than 60 years.
At this time vaccine is the only treatment against corona. After campaigning on a large scale, more than 100 crore people got the vaccine, now they are getting precaution doses.
The registration for taking the precaution dose has already started on the Co-Win platform from 8th January. According to the Ministry of Health, the precaution dose can be taken after 9 months or after 39 weeks from the day the second dose of the vaccine is taken.
One can also register for precaution doses directly at the vaccination center without registering on Co-Win.
Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted on Sunday, "Government is ensuring the safety of the health army that protects the country. SMS reminders have been sent to more than 1 crore health and frontline workers and 60 citizens for their preconcussion doses. COWIN But the appointment is already started. The dosage schedule is being started from tomorrow."
