After getting information about the bomb, Sukhoi fighter jets of the Air Force were deployed to monitor it. These fighter jets took off from Punjab and Jodhpur airbases. The jets escorted it and left it outside the Indian border. The Iranian plane went through Indian airspace towards Myanmar and then towards China.
The director of Jaipur airport told the media that the pilot did not contact Jaipur ATC to land the plane in Jaipur. On the other hand, the investigating agencies are probing whether it was a fake call or not.
According to the flight tracking website Flightradar, this plane (IRM081) is going from Tehran in Iran to Guangzhou in China. This plane belongs to Mahan Air. According to media reports, a call was received at 9:20 am regarding the bomb threat. The authorities at the Delhi airport were immediately put on alert. But due to technical reasons, permission was not granted and the aircraft was diverted to Jaipur.
