Shirish and I work in the creative field. We are content creators. As a parent, we want to focus our children's attention more on creative subjects. We often travel with them, show them the latest movies and expose them to books and art.
What qualities do a person who has been working in the creative field for a long time need to think creatively? As a mother, how do you nurture creativity in your children? The first quality to be creative is that you have to think out-of-the-box. You must be original. You have to do things that no one else has done before. Your way of looking at things must be extraordinary. Of course, technology has helped a lot. Anything you envision can be made with the right technology.Shirish and I work in the creative field. After the film is over, we have discussions with him, etc.
Do you think children are more creative than adults? If so, what makes them so creative? I think children are more creative than adults. If you ask a child to paint something, there is every chance that they will create something amazing. I think it is because they are not adulterated. They make the most beautiful paintings when they are young, they will have an orange sky, or they will have a green sky or fields of orange color because they are of pure mind. Everything changes when the adults start telling them hey Sky it's not like that.
Do you think that elementary education, especially coding, can improve their creative thinking? Yes, definitely! In fact, my kids started a little late. I wish I had known about Whitehat Jr. earlier. It would have been better if they started when they were seven or eight years old because I think then you can learn to master coding very easily. That's very exciting for us. You see, I'm very, very technically less advanced.
I'm from a generation that didn't even have a mobile phone, I want my kids to really learn to code because that's the future. Whenever you want to build something, no one is really going to guide you physically, it will all be done through apps or coding on the computer. I think the sooner they start, the better kids get at coding. My kids are my technical advisors. If I need something, like make a Zoom call, my kids set it up right away. He even started his own event company in lockdown! They were organizing Zoom parties during the first wave and the second wave. They were partying online. They were organizing themes for people, that's how they were developing their enterprise.
