BJP Yuva Morcha worker Praveen Nettaru hacked to death, BJP Condemns
BJP Yuva Morcha worker Praveen Nettaru was hacked to death with lethal weapons by unidentified people on a bike in Bellare, Dakshina Kannada.

Karnataka: BJP leader Praveen Nettaru was hacked to death with an ax in Karnataka's Dakshina Kannada district on Tuesday. Nettaru was the district secretary of the BJP Yuva Morcha. After the murder, BJP workers demonstrated which continued till late at night. The police haven't made any arrests yet. The reason for the murder has also not been revealed. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Tuesday assured that the accused would be arrested soon. He said that the killing of our party worker is condemnable.
According to the police, Praveen has a poultry shop in the Bellare area of Dakshina Kannada. On Tuesday, when Praveen was returning home after closing the shop, some people on a bike came and blocked his way. He attacked Praveen with an axe. He was seriously injured and died on his way to the hospital.
BJP leader Mohammad Anwar was stabbed to death in Karnataka on June 23. The killers had come by bike. Mohammad Anwar was the General Secretary of the BJP. BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje had told the hand of fundamentalists behind this murder.
Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai condemned the incident and wrote, "The barbaric killing of party activist Praveen Nettaru from Sullia, Dakshina Kannada. The perpetrators of such a heinous act will be arrested soon & punished under the law. May Praveen's soul rest in peace."
