Bihar minister Karthik Kumar, accused in kidnapping case, finally resigned from his post

Earlier on Tuesday, the department of Law Minister Karthik Kumar of the Mahagathbandhan government of Bihar was changed. The inclusion of Karthik Kumar in the cabinet despite his alleged involvement in a kidnapping case was heavily criticized by the opposition. Reacting to the change in the department of Karthik Kumar, BJP's state unit president Sanjay Jaiswal had said, "Today the department of Kartikeya Singh was changed.
