Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said that Pakistan has illegally occupied Gilgit-Baltistan and it is now going to make Gilgit-Baltistan a state which the Indian government has opposed and said that that the entire PoK including Gilgit-Baltistan is an integral part of India.

Singh said it while addressing a gathering during an election campaign in Bihar. Earlier he had informed on his twitter handle that he address election meetings in four assembly constituencies of Bihar (Chiraiya, Sugauli, Bathnaha and Khajouli) on November 2.
“Today, seeing the enthusiasm in the public meetings of Bihar, I am convinced that the NDA government is going to be formed again in Bihar. Congress-RJD has no agenda of development. India's development would not be possible without the development of Bihar,” Singh said.
He added, “In politics, the leader must have foresight. The first thing that Modiji did was to open an account of every individual in all banks. No one thought that there should be toilets in every house, but Modiji thought so and built a toilet in every house to ensure that our parents do not have difficulty in the village.”
He said that earlier there was a brain drain as talented youth from Bihar used to travel to other states for education but “Today engineering-polytechnic colleges are opening in Bihar, which was not happening earlier and there was a brain drain.
“Today engineering-polytechnic colleges are opening in Bihar. Medical colleges have been opened in about eleven districts,” he said.
Singh also said that the Congress Party mocked and made baseless allegations about the Pulwama attack. “They raise suspicion on Prime Minister Modiji. Three days ago in the Assembly of Pakistan, Pakistan's minister himself revealed what had happened in Pulwama. Why are the Congress people silent now?,” he questioned.
