Kumar also added that the police and the administration in the state had been told to act in full preparedness and strictness.

"Directed to expedite the investigation of criminal incidents and take swift action against the guilty. Instructed the police and administration to work with full preparedness and strictness to maintain law and order," the post read.

In the meantime, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav accused that hundred of businessmen had been killed in Bihar, and it could not be termed as Jungle Raj.

There were also questionable violations of the law and order issue which was under question by a former Deputy Chief Minister Yadav and said, "A few steps away from the police station in Patna, a prominent Bihar businessman was shot dead!"

"Hundreds of businessmen are being murdered in Bihar every month, but we can't call it jungle raj? Because this is what the scriptures call media management, perception management, and image management", Tejashwi Yadav wrote on 'X' in Hindi.

Earlier in the day, RJD leader Mrtiyunjay Tiwari attacked the Bihar government over murder of businessman Gopal Khemka in Patna saying that the state has become lawless under leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

The party chief of RJD said that Nitish Kumar ceased to be competent enough to continue his term as the Chief Minister of Bihar. "Nitish Kumar is no longer fit to remain on the Chief Minister's chair even for a moment. Bihar has descended into a state of lawlessness... Only the departure of this government will bring good to Bihar", Mrityunjay Tiwari told ANI.

In the meantime, the Bihar Police established a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to attend to the case of murder. Patna Central SP will be the head of the SIT.

On arrival at the crime scene, the forensic team found Gopal Khemka, who was murdered in Gandhi Maidan in Patna, early in the morning of Saturday. This happened on July 4.
