Big relief to Kumar Vishwas and Tejinder Bagga, Punjab- Haryana High Court canceled the FIR
The Punjab Police had registered a case against Bagga for making provocative statements, promoting enmity and criminal intimidation. The case was registered on the complaint of Mohali-based AAP leader Sunny Ahluwalia.

Kavi Kumar Vishwas and BJP leader Tejinder Bagga have got a big relief. The Punjab and Haryana High Court has quashed the FIR registered against both. An FIR was registered against these two leaders by the Punjab Police. A case was registered against Kumar Vishwas and Tejinder Bagga for their statements against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The Punjab Police team had reached Kumar Vishwas's house in Ghaziabad for questioning in this case. At the same time, BJP leader Tejinder Bagga was picked up from his house in Delhi.
Earlier in May, the Punjab and Haryana High Court had stayed the arrest of Kumar Vishwas for allegedly making provocative statements against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Punjab's Rupnagar police had registered a case against Kumar Vishwas after the complainant alleged that he and AAP supporters were being called Khalistanis. The complaint claimed that the incident took place on April 12, when Kumar Vishwas made remarks accusing Kejriwal of supporting separatists. Kumar Vishwas had moved the High Court seeking quashing of the FIR registered against him.
The Punjab Police had registered a case against Bagga for making provocative statements, promoting enmity and criminal intimidation. The case was registered on the complaint of Mohali-based AAP leader Sunny Ahluwalia. According to the FIR lodged on April 1, Bagga had participated in a protest of BJP's Yuva Morcha outside Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence in Delhi on March 30 and allegedly made objectionable remarks. Bagga was arrested by the Punjab Police from his Delhi home in May, but on his way to Punjab, he was stopped in Haryana and brought back to the national capital a few hours later by the Delhi Police.
