Big action by Sports Ministry in sexual harassment case, WFI assistant secretary suspended
Describing the allegations leveled against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh as baseless, the Assistant Secretary said that the wrestlers sitting on dharna at Jantar Mantar have not presented any evidence to support their claims.

The Sports Ministry has taken major action on Saturday regarding the serious allegations of sexual harassment leveled by the wrestlers. Let us tell you that the Sports Ministry has suspended Vinod Tomar, Assistant Secretary of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI). In fact, Secretary Vinod had shown a statement in favor of WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and termed the allegations against him as baseless.
Describing the allegations leveled against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh as baseless, the Assistant Secretary said that the wrestlers sitting on dharna at Jantar Mantar have not presented any evidence to support their claims. Vinod Tomar had told news agency ANI that the allegations are baseless. I have been associated with them for the last 12 years and I have never come across any such incident or allegations. They had said that it has been three-four days (wrestlers have been on strike) but they have not produced any evidence.
