Biden said that people who do not get the vaccine could face serious illness and death this winter. Just a few days ago, Biden said that Americans need not fear a new strain of the virus. But now his opinion has changed.

Biden said that Omicron will spread very rapidly in America and that the only real protection will be by getting the vaccine. He also emphasized on getting booster doses of vaccinated people. At the same time, after a meeting with medical experts regarding the epidemic, he said that the country is fully prepared to deal with Omicron. Booster doses are being given in the country and new rules have been implemented regarding travel.

On December 1, an average of 86 thousand new corona cases were being registered daily in the US, but by December 14, this number increased by 35% to 1.17 lakh. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, America is currently the most affected country by Corona. An average of 1,150 deaths are being recorded here daily.
