Biden Comments on Israeli Strikes Against Iran: Soon after Iran launched a barrage of missiles at Israel, he sought to put an end to the speculation that war was about to take place.

Israel Iran conflict news: On Tuesday, US President Joe Biden said that he didn’t expect Israel to launch a revenge attack against Iran after a recent missile attack from Tehran which increased tensions in the Middle East.
In a press conference at the White House, when Biden was asked whether if the U.S. will allow Israel for retaliation against Iran, he said, "First of all, we don’t ‘allow’ Israel, we advise Israel. And there is nothing going to happen today.”
Soon after Iran launched a barrage of missiles at Israel, he sought to put an end to the speculation that war was about to take place.

As per the reports, a total of 180 missiles were launched by Iran on Tuesday. Iran said this was a revenge attack for the killing of several militant leaders and Israeli aggression in Gaza and Lebanon.
Reuters reported that ministers from Gulf Arab states and Iran met during a meeting of Asian nations hosted by Qatar to discuss ways to de-escalate conflict. This measure was taken to reduce the chances of a Middle East war.
Sources told Reuters that the Gulf states told Iran that they would stay out of this conflict between Iran and Israel as they don’t want their oil infrastructure to get affected.

The diplomatic efforts come after tensions rises that the conflict could spread to other parts of the Middle East which might include the Gulf states in the conflict.
Tensions have also increased in the Israel-Lebanon border as Hezbollah soldiers have been fighting the Israeli forces for the past few days.
On Thursday, the Israeli military warned civilians in southern Lebanon to evacuate areas north of the U.N.-declared buffer zone. This means that the Israeli military is planning to expand its operations against Hezbollah.
This week, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched an attack on Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon and called it "limited ground incursion."
