BHMS third year student hanged herself by tying a scarf to the fan, died
The Jahangirpura police have registered a case of accidental death and started investigation in the entire matter. The father of the deceased girl student is working as deputy engineer in the municipality, mother teacher and brother as medical officer in the municipality.

A girl student living in Jahangirpura, Surat, Gujarat committed suicide by hanging herself at home. She was studying in the third year of BHMS i.e. Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery. The girl was wearing a T-shirt with 'game over' written on it. It is feared that this step has been taken due to stress in studies. At present, the police is investigating the entire matter.
According to the information received, 20-year-old Janvi Dilipbhai Patel, a resident of Jahangirpura area of Surat, was studying in BHMS third year in a college located in Keem area. He committed suicide by tying a scarf to the fan in his own house on Monday afternoon.
The family was shocked to see the daughter hanging. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, but the doctor on duty declared him brought dead. The reason for which the girl student committed suicide is not yet known. It is suspected that she was under stress regarding ATKT in studies, due to which she took this extreme step.
