Bharat Jodo Yatra : 110th day of Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul started the journey from Mavikala in Baghpat

Congress's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' resumed under the leadership of former party president Rahul Gandhi at 6 am on Wednesday after night rest at Mavi Kalan in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. Party workers led by the District President of Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) also took part in the yatra. Rahul Gandhi and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reached Mavi Kalan from Delhi in the morning and the yatra resumed from 6 am as per the pre-determined schedule. Priyanka, however, did not join the yatra in the morning. According to party sources, he is likely to join the yatra after 12 noon.

Meanwhile, RLD's Baghpat District President Rampal Dhama and many party leaders and workers also participated in the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra'. Earlier, it was told from the Congress side that RLD President Jayant Chaudhary would also take part in the yatra, but RLD National Secretary Anil Dubey told that Jayant is currently abroad. Amidst the harsh winter, Rahul was once again seen walking in a white T-shirt. A large number of people left with him carrying the tricolor in their hands. On this occasion, many senior leaders including senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh and state Congress President Brijlal Khabri were also seen walking with Rahul.

Congress's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' entered Uttar Pradesh from Ghaziabad's Loni border on Tuesday afternoon. This yatra will leave for Haryana on Thursday via Shamli from Baghpat. The yatra started from Mavikalan village on Wednesday morning and will reach the cave temple in the afternoon, where there will be a brief halt for darshan and food. After rest, the yatra will enter Baraut town via Sarurpur Kalan village. Rahul Gandhi will address the Nukkad Sabha organized at Chhaprauli Chungi in Barot. After the meeting is over, the yatra will leave for Shamli district. Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav, BSP chief Mayawati and RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary have kept themselves away from Congress's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', but they have congratulated the Congress for it.
