Today Bhagwant Mann will take oath alone and it is said that his ministers will take oath on March 19. Bhagwant Mann will take oath as Chief Minister at Khatkar Kalan, the native village of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. He would be the 26th Chief Minister of the state, though he would be the 19th Chief Minister after the Punjab Reorganization (1966).
Arrangements have also been made for two thousand buses to bring people from different districts to the swearing-in ceremony of Bhagwant Mann. Delhi Chief Minister and AAP's national convener Arvind Kejriwal and the entire cabinet of Delhi will reach Khatkar Kalan in Nawanshahr to attend the function.
A senior Punjab government official said that the Chief Ministers of all the states are being asked about their arrival but so far except Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. No confirmation has been given.
