Bengaluru Techie Suicide Case: Nikita Singhania, Family Arrested and Produced in Court
Nikita Singhania, the estranged wife of 34-year-old techie Atul Subhash, her mother Nisha and brother Anurag have been arrested in an abetment to suicide case, days after Atul died by suicide after accusing Nikita and his family of harassment and extortion.

Bengaluru Techie Suicide Case: Nikita Singhania, the estranged wife of 34-year-old techie Atul Subhash, her mother Nisha and brother Anurag has been arrested in an abetment to suicide case, days after Atul died by suicide after accusing Nikita and his family of harassment and extortion.
Subhash was found hanging in his apartment in Bengaluru on December 9, leaving behind a note that alleged harassment by his estranged wife and her family. A case of abetment to suicide has been filed against Singhania and her family members.
Nikita was apprehended in Gurugram, Haryana and her mother and brother were arrested in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. A senior police officer confirmed all three were produced in court and sent to judicial custody.

The trio demanded Rs 3 crore to withdraw cases against Atul and Rs 30 lakh for visitation rights to see his son.
According to Shivakumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) for White Field Division, the three were brought before the court and subsequently sent to judicial custody. Authorities are now actively investigating Now the investigation is on to find out what led to Subhash’s death.
Police have revealed that the role of Sushil Singhania, a relative of Nikita, is still under investigation, and efforts are being made to locate him.

To gather evidence, police have engaged forensic science laboratory (FSL) experts and the cybercrime team to examine Subhash Atul's death note, video, and electronic devices.
Singhania and her family members had filed anticipatory bail pleas in the Allahabad High Court, seeking to avoid arrest as the police investigation intensified.
The 34-year-old software engineer died by suicide on December 9, leaving behind a devastating 24-page note and an 80-minute video that detailed alleged harassment by his wife, Nikita, and her family.
Atul Subhash accused them of filing false cases, including dowry harassment, unnatural sex, and murder, which he claimed caused him immense emotional and financial distress.
