New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday drew the attention of the countrymen towards the increasing cases of Kovid-19 infection in many countries and advised them to be alert, safe, and careful. Sharing his thoughts in the 96th and the last episode of this year's monthly radio program "Mann Ki Baat" of All India Radio, the Prime Minister said, “At this time many people are also in a holiday mood. Enjoy the festivals and these occasions a lot, but be a little cautious as well. You are also seeing that corona is increasing in many countries of the world. That's why we have to take more care of precautions like masks and hand washing.
PM Modi said, "If we are careful, we will also be safe and there will be no hindrance in our enthusiasm." This advice of the Prime Minister has come at a time when cases of coronavirus infection have increased in many countries of the world including China, Japan, and South Korea. In view of this, Modi had also held a high-level review meeting with senior ministers and top officials of the central government recently. It is known that in the last 24 hours, 227 new cases of Kovid-19 came in India, while the number of patients under treatment increased to 3,424.
