After the announcement of BCCI, crores of Indian fans and supporters of women's cricket are confused about this aspect that where BCCI has made the match fees of women players at par with men, then will their annual contract amount as compared to the contract amount of men.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has surprised the cricket world by taking a very big decision. BCCI has announced that women cricketers will now be paid the same match fees as male players. After the departure of the previous president Sourav Ganguly, this is such a big decision of the Indian board, which will have a huge impact on the entire cricket world. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah tweeted that I am happy to take the first step towards gender equality. We are implementing a par policy for the contracted players of the Indian women's team. We are entering a new era of gender equality in cricket and male and female cricketers will be paid equal match fees.

Players of the Indian men's team get a match fee of Rs 15 lakh per test match, six for every one-day match and three lakh rupees for T20 matches. After this decision of the board, now the players of the contracted women's team will also get the same match fee, which will have a huge impact on their annual income.
Like male cricketers, BCCI also makes annual contracts with women cricketers, but there is a difference of ground sky in the contract amount apart from the match fees of both. Indian men's cricket earns seven crores annually under category "A", five per year under "A" category and three under grade "B" and one crore per year under grade C, but more than men than women. The contract amount is very less.
