Babri Mosque Case: Supreme Court announces closure of all Babri Masjid cases
The name of the petitioner in this case is Aslam Bhure who is no longer in this world. The apex court said, a lot of time has passed and now nothing new has happened in this matter. With this, in view of the decision on the Ram temple issue in 2019, now these petitions are closed.
The Supreme Court has decided to close all cases related to the demolition of the Babri Masjid structure in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The court has also closed all the contempt petitions filed regarding this. All these petitions were filed against the state government and some of its officials for failing to prevent the demolition of the Babri Masjid in 1992.
