Babil Khan, son of late actor Irrfan Khan, has dropped out of college to pursue a career in acting

Babil Khan, the son of late actor Irrfan Khan, wrote an emotional letter to his pals announcing his decision to drop out of college and pursue performing. He'll be seen in the Netflix drama Qala, opposite Triptii Dimri, shortly. Anvitaa Dutt is set to direct the film.

“I will miss you so much. My beautiful friends. I have a very tight circle here in Mumbai, literally 2-3 friends in total. You all gave me a home in a strange cold place and made me feel like I belonged. Thank you, I love you. Film BA, dropping out today, with over 120 credits cause I’m giving it all to acting as of now. Goodbye university of Westminster. I love you my truest friends,” Babil wrote on Instagram.

Babil Khan posted candid photos of himself filming a scene on Monday, thanking his college pals for making him feel at ease in a "weird cold location." He also referred to them as his "real pals."

When you see Irrfan Khan on screen, you can't help but admire how he manages to discover that remarkable quality in seemingly conventional roles. And when you hear him talk about it, you realize it wasn't by chance; the actor had a deep-seated philosophy that drove him to create characters who were unique in their own right, despite being a face in the throng.
