Kamran Ghulam Babar Azam news: The former captain of the Pakistan national cricket team Babar Azam was not included in the previous two Pakistan cricket test debut England on Sunday (October 13).
The 29-year-old Pakistani cricketer Kamran Ghulam was chosen as Babar Azam replacement in the second test match against England at Multan Cricket Stadium.
The right-hand batter on his first test match secured a century for his team led by Shan Masood, reflecting a good start on their test debut. He scored a century on the last ball of the 74th over.
In the second test match, he played a total of 224 balls and along with 11 fours and one six, Kamran Ghulam scores 118 debut test match.
However, scoring a century on his first test match helped him to become the 13th Pakistani batter to score a century in his first red-ball match. The news about Ghulam's iconic performance in his first match made headlines on Tuesday, the former captain and batter Babar Azam on Kamran Ghulam debut shared a story for him and praised him.
On his Instagram story, Babar Azam shared a image of Kamran Ghulam celebrating his century and wrote, “Well played Kamran!”
However, Babar hasn’t been included in the Pakistan squad for the last two test matches against England because of his poor performance in test cricket. The right-handed batter hasn’t scored a fifty in his last 18 innings.

In Pakistan's series opener against England, England won by 47 runs and an innings in Multan last week. Babar scored 30 runs in the first innings and got out after scoring five runs in the second innings.
Not only Babar was excluded but pacers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah were also not included in the final two Tests. On Monday, during a pre-match press conference, Pakistan’s assistant coach Azhar Mahmood said that the trio is currently rested not dropped from the team.
Azhar Mahmood's comments aimed to put an end to all the speculation that they were kicked out by saying the break is necessary to manage player workloads and make themselves ready for future challenges.
