Baba Siddique Murder: Another Accused, Alleged Aide of Lawrence Bishnoi, Arrested in Punjab

Baba Siddique Murder: In a stupendous development, the Mumbai Police has collaborated with the Punjab Police to arrest a Mumbai based Sujeet Sushil Singh the key suspect in the murder of Baba Siddique a political figure.
Singh has been put in the custody of the Mumbai police for further interrogation, according to the DGP Punjab.
On the other hand, in Baba Siddiqui’s murder case, nine people who were arrested on Friday were taken to court in Mumbai where their police remand was further extended to October 26.

Nine of the accused persons arrested at different times were remanded in police custody and were today produced before Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (Esplanade Court) V R Patil.
The nine accused were Gurmail Baljit Singh (23), Dharmaraj Kashyap (21), Harish Kumar Nisad (26), Pravin Lonkar (30), Nitin Gautam Sapre (32), Sambhaji Kisan Pardhi (44), Pradeep Dattu Thombre (37), Chetan Dilip Pardhi and Ram Fulchand Kanoujia (43).
While the police applied for the remand extension by an additional three days, the court limited it to one additional day before the remand period lapsed.
Baba Siddiqui, also an NCP leader and a former Minister in the state of Maharashtra, was shot at by three armed gun men on 12th October near his son MLA Zeeshan Siddique’s office situated in Nirmal Nagar, Mumbai.

The ‘hit’ has been claimed by the Lawrence Bishnoi’s terror outfit who is presently incarcerated.
In earlier reports, the police explained that the three assailants who were supposed to have shot Baba Sajid, during the NCP leaders son’s promotion were in touch with Lawrence’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi through Snapchat regarding the plans.
A bullet was fired into the chest of the former MLA and NCP leader charged Siddique who was later shot outside his office building located in Nirmal Nager, Mumbai. He was rushed to the nearby Lilavati hospital but succumbed to treatment on 12th October.
